Anthropoda
The phylum Anthropoda, is one that is characterized by its exoskeleton and their jointed legs. The word arthropoda derives from two Greek words that mean “jointed” “leg”. There are layers of muscles around internal organs both striated and smooth muscle fibers. Also in anthropodas are muscle bundles that help move the skeleton, similar to those around the human bone.
The muscular system of the arthropods contain a complex set of smooth and striated components that are also found in chordates. However, unlike common chordates, cilla are not present.
Three of the most common anthropodas are the crab, butterfly, and spider. Which for the most part, they all share the same major muscular features. They all contain muscle bundles around the major organs, and at each leg segment.
